Nice to hear how you got your start. I left a junior network Engineer position because I felt under appreciated. Thought the grass was greener and although pay was better it certainly wasn’t an upgrade. Now I’m debating whether to get my CCNP and pray an opportunity opens up near me. I live in a small Midwest city that isn’t overflowing with networking positions. Any advice is welcome.

Having a job you are satisfied means everything. I worked for a comoany for almost 15 years and had a great time for 13 of them. The last 2 years it went downhill when the company got bought and they started tearing the old team apart and basicly sacking people when they had integrated the old companys systems into the new companys systems!

Now I have started a company with a few of my old colleagues, hopefully it will work well! 🙂
